Wednesday night I headed to Canton, TX with some very good friends Jill, Tamara, Amanda, Dana (my sister) and Paige. We stayed at a fantastic bed and breakfast located on a horse ranch between Canton and Tyler. Since there were 6 of us, we stayed in the bunkhouse.
It was like a fancy barn with a full kitchen, large main gathering area and 8 bunk beds. We had fabulous breakfasts every morning. The ranch was just beautiful and our hosts were just great!
Okay, now for the main reason we went... the SHOPPING!!! You can find anything and everything there. They had clothes, jewelry, furniture, and anything else you can imagine. They even have a section with nothing but animals. YES, they even sell pets! We spent 2 full days shopping. And we didn't see everything. We mainly stayed in the covered pavilion areas. We were going to tackle some of the outdoor areas on Friday, but rain from Hurricane Alex put a damper on that.
We had great meals, great company and great shopping!!! Can't wait to do it again!
